Attending Neurosurgeon
Biography
I am a Clinical Associate Professor at National Taiwan University College of Medicine, an attending neurosurgeon at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), and the Chief Executive Officer of the NTUH International Medical Service Center. He specializes in minimally invasive neurosurgery, with particular expertise in intracerebral hemorrhage, brain tumors, skull base tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, traumatic brain injury, and endoscopic neurosurgery.
I received his medical degree and PhD training from National Taiwan University. He has pursued advanced research and international training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital, as well as the Stanford Biodesign program. These experiences have shaped his multidisciplinary approach to integrating clinical medicine, biomedical engineering, medical devices, and translational research.
My major academic interests focus on developing innovative, minimally invasive approaches to brain surgery. I have been actively involved in the development and clinical application of minimally invasive techniques for intracerebral hemorrhage and other complex neurosurgical conditions, aiming to reduce surgical trauma, improve hematoma evacuation, preserve neurological function, and accelerate patient recovery. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, and he has contributed to the advancement of novel neuroendoscopic technologies and medical devices.
Beyond clinical practice and research, I am actively engaged in medical innovation, clinical trials, biomedical engineering, and international collaboration. In his role at NTUH International Medical Service Center, he is also committed to advancing international healthcare, facilitating cross-border medical collaboration, and promoting the global exchange of medical expertise and innovative healthcare technologies.
With a strong combination of clinical expertise, academic research, medical innovation, and international experience, I am dedicated to advancing the next generation of minimally invasive neurosurgery and building stronger global partnerships in healthcare.
