Biography
TZU-YEN HUANG received his M.D. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2009, and his Ph.D. degree in Biological Science and Technology from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2022. He is currently the Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Kaohsiung Medical University Gangshan Hospital and an Associate Professor at Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His clinical and research interests focus on thyroid and parathyroid diseases, with particular expertise in thyroid surgery, ultrasound-guided thyroid ablation, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and voice preservation. His research focuses on improving the safety and functional outcomes of thyroid interventions, including both surgical and minimally invasive ablative approaches.
