Biography
I currently serve as an Associate Professor within the Institute of Molecular Medicine and Bioengineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan. I earned my Ph.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the United States, specializing in immunology and the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. During my doctoral training, I successfully established a valid mouse model of autoimmune hypophysitis and identified its autoantigen. Since joining NYCU, my laboratory has focused on two primary areas of investigation: the development of novel therapeutic proteins for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and oncology, and the study of the pathogenesis and therapeutic interventions for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
